DMCA Policy

OtakuForge respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the OtakuForge website (https://otakuforge.com/) that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

1. Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Site by completing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent.

Upon receipt of the Notice as described below, OtakuForge will take whatever action, in its sole discretion, it deems appropriate, including removal of the challenged content from the Site.

2. DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement

To be effective, the Notice must include the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.

  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (including the URL of the product page or image).

  3. Your contact information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

  4. A statement of good faith: “I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”

  5. A statement of accuracy: “I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed.”

  6. Electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. Your counter-notification must be a written communication sent to our Designated Copyright Agent and must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

OtakuForge reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be “repeat infringers” of the intellectual property rights of others.
